Dawn Parker : President

  • Life long Salem County resident, Dawn resides in Woodstown, NJ with husband Erv Parker Jr., their children Sara (23) & Nathan (18). 

    In the recent past Dawn has held positions as: Girl Scout Leader (#6486; 6yrs); Chair of the St. Edmond’s Grandparent’s Day Luncheon; Team Lead at that Academy's Gala Silent Auction and organized a “men’s coat drive” at the school benefiting Philly's Commission to End Homelessness. 

    For several years while her daughter attended Ursuline Academy, she was a Team Lead for the Academy's Dinner and Fashion Show Gala. The Parker Family has welcomed three different Spanish Foreign Exchange Students into their home, sharing with them the beauty and pleasures of Salem County. 

    Dawn has been active with Family Promise since 2007.  In Sept. 2012 Dawn was offered a three month position as Co-Interim Director of Family Promise and accepted.  Current positions are: monthly volunteer for the Disciples Food Pantry (serving Salem County); serving as a member of the Salem County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club; Team Lead for Care Givers at Asbury UMC; preparing and serving meals for Camden's Ronald McDonald House and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. 

    Some of the FP Board duties Dawn has been tasked with are: updating  marketing materials; performing speaking engagements on behalf of FP; Co-Leading and or participating as a Team Member in numerous FP Board supported fundraiser; coordinating Recognition of FP volunteers along with performing numerous other duties that contribute to the day to day operation of Family Promise. 

    Service is an evident calling in Dawn’s life and her participation on the Family Promise Board is an outcome of her compassion.

Terry Ostrander : Treasurer

  • Terry and her husband Chris live in Pennsville and has two daughters. 

    Terry has an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Salem County College and is a Senior Sales Consultant for Standard Maintenance Supply Company. 

    She has served as a Girl Scout leader for many years, is involved with the Salem County Republican Club and serves as a Committee Chair for the Pennsville Septemberfest Parade. 

    Terry and her family attend Trinity United Methodist Church and have been active as Sunday School teachers, Vacation Bible School, Family Ministries, Adopt-a-Family and the Board of Trustees.
